Collected and examined the device state meta data for important insights such as capacity ,outage, location , model
type etc.
To prevent downtime, using the above data conceptualized outage predictors using various machine learning
algorithms (random forest, Extreme Gradient Boost, Logistic Regression) on rapid miner as well as scikit-learn in
python.
Programmed a load balancer module for influxdb containers (docker) using nginx to maintain data availability in case
one of the container goes down. The above module also tackled data redundancy.
Built an anomaly detection engine from scratch using python to replace kapacitor due to its non-reliable performance
and lack of parameter control. The above engine was able to calculate and flag anomalies in real time and send them
to an alert engine.
Improved the above engine so that it may handle multiple types of data elements within a single stream. The
application used multi-threading to handle these different types and also maintain near to real time responsiveness.
